We're looking for a Fleet Coordinator at our high growth rental car startup to help oversee a team of drivers ("Surfers") and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This role will report directly to the local Operations Manager. This person should be highly motivated with a positive attitude and good work ethic that can help lift our on-the-ground operations to the next level.
What You'll Be Doing
- Ensure smooth daily operations of the lot
- Deliver and return cars to customers or repair shops
- Coordinate vehicle pickups from suppliers
- Help onboard new contractors
- Troubleshoot minor maintenance issues on-site
- Cleaning cars as needed
- Audit fleet for cleanliness and damage
- Install telematic devices on cars
- Collaborate with leadership on operational changes for fleet/lot improvement
- Maintain cleaning products and lot equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid Driver's license
- Comfortable moving cars around the parking structure
- Ready to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with physical aspects (like cleaning, installation, etc.)
- Good time management and ability to balance competing priorities
- Ability to follow directions and processes
- Effective communication skills
Preferred
- History in a fast-paced industry (e.g. restaurants, maintenance, events, hotels, construction, gig work)
- Interest in logistics and operations
- Open to learning and trying new strategies
- Experience in SLACK, Google Sheets/Excel and Google Docs
