Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative support across all stages of the recruitment process, from interview scheduling and candidate onboarding to post-offer activities. This role ensures a seamless and positive candidate experience while maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. The coordinator operates under limited supervision and exercises independent judgment in managing routine recruiting functions. Remote (Must reside within 50 miles of Columbus, OH; Tulsa, OK; or Roanoke, VA)

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Specialists to facilitate an efficient and compliant recruitment process.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, involving communication with candidates, hiring managers, and interview teams.
  • Arrange candidate travel and manage related expense reimbursements, as needed.
  • Guide candidates through the onboarding process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of applications, I-9 forms, and other documentation.
  • Conduct audits of recruiting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation sessions, as assigned.
  • Schedule and monitor drug screenings, physicals, and background checks.
  • Maintain on-site HR files, including original I-9s and job requisition records.
  • Administer or support employment testing, when applicable.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of six years of administrative experience, preferably in human resources or talent acquisition.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) or other recruitment technologies.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must reside within 50 miles of Columbus, OH; Tulsa, OK; or Roanoke, VA.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Haves)
  • Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Prior experience supporting full-cycle recruitment processes.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to create a welcoming experience for candidates.
  • Collaborative approach and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience conducting new hire orientations and administering employment tests.
