About The Role
liblab is seeking a dynamic and collaborative Senior Software Engineer with a focus on backend Swift development to join our growing team. You will play a pivotal role in leading the development of Swift SDKs. While not front-end focused, the ideal candidate should have experience working on aspects of projects that are visible to end-users.

We are currently focusing on hiring folks who live in and around the Austin, Texas area and are open to work in a hybrid environment( 3-day per week in office). Relocation assistance will be provided for US-based applicants only.
What You’ll Be Doing
Designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining efficient code particularly in SWIFT and using Typescript to generate Swift code.
Leading the development of Swift SDKs at liblab, ensuring high-quality and efficient code that aligns with industry best practices.
Contributing to projects that are user-facing. That is, put yourself in the shoes of your users and be a steward of crafting great experiences
Testing the reliability and robustness of the Swift SDKs developed.
Developing and maintaining development environment.
Thrive in a collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts
Take pride in working on projects to successful completion involving a wide variety of technologies and systems
Enjoy working with a diverse group of people with different expertise
Uphold best practices in engineering, security, and design
You’ll Be a Good Fit If you have
Minimum 5 years of industry experience as a software engineer, with proficiency in SWIFT, with the ability to use Typescript for generating Swift code. Backend proficiency with Swift is a must.
Some level of professional experience with React Native and Kotlin
A track record of successful contributions to user-facing mobile projects.
Solid understanding of DevOps practices. Experience with Github Actions (or other CI/CD tools)
Automated Testing Experience - Load test, spike test, stress test
Documentation experience (Enable engineering team to deploy, troubleshoot, etc )
Proven ability to work independently with minimal hand-holding, showcasing self-sufficiency in problem-solving and project execution.
Nice To Have
Early Stage Startup experience preferred
A BS in Computer Science or a related field
Security best practices awareness
The salary range for this role is $150k – $189k for candidates in the United States. This information reflects a base salary range for this position based on current market data, which may be subject to change as new market data becomes available. A candidate's skills, experience, and other relevant factors will determine the exact compensation. This position may also be eligible for additional incentives such as equity awards or short-term incentives. For full-time employees, our benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, WFH stipend, and PTO. For candidates residing outside of the United States, the compensation will reflect the given geography market value.
