Job Description:

We’re looking for an EVP of Growth to lead the next chapter of customer acquisition and engagement across our real estate search portal and our direct-to-consumer and retail lending businesses. This executive will drive performance marketing across paid and organic channels, own our lifecycle marketing efforts to re-engage past clients, and lead our data strategy—from campaign-level analytics to enterprise-wide business intelligence.

This role requires a visionary leader with strong team-building skills and a mix of analytical, strategic, and operational talents, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. You’ll report to the president of the company and will be a member of the executive staff at Lower.

This position is based in Columbus, OH or Austin, TX with hybrid-remote accommodations only for the most qualified candidates. Travel expected 50% in the first six months, 25% thereafter.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Acquisition & Performance Marketing

  • Lead our paid marketing strategy across Google, Meta, LinkedIn and emerging platforms
  • Drive organic traffic growth via SEO, content marketing, and referral programs
  • Work with product and engineering to optimize conversion funnels and cross-sell to maximize lead value
  • Create an acquisition model to optimize LTV, CAC, payback window and unit economics
  • Set clear financial goals for spending, revenue and profits and deliver to plan

Lifecycle & CRM Marketing

  • Implement lifecycle marketing campaigns across email and SMS to drive transactions, reviews, referrals and repeat customers
  • Support our retail loan officers by building out customized client journeys that highlight the company and the loan officer
  • Build campaigns that empower our loan officers to win new business by connecting them with local realtors

Data Engineering & Business Intelligence

  • Develop a data warehouse to better understand our customers, our employees, the performance of our business and how we are doing compared to the competition.
  • Create rich customer profiles that include 1st and 3rd-party data to optimize targeting, timing, and the offers we make to our clients
  • Deliver real-time dashboards and insights that empower teams across the company to make faster, smarter decisions

Leadership & Strategy

  • Build our team of marketers, analysts and engineers to capitalize on the opportunity
  • Set a clear strategy to prioritize our marketing investments across data, technology, and media
  • Modernize our marketing tech stack across campaign creation, testing, attribution and reporting
  • Develop a test and learn culture to combine creativity and analytics to drive performance gains
  • Utilize AI to improve targeting and accelerate campaign creation, execution and analysis
  • Work hand-in-hand with finance to budget and forecast our performance accurately

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in growth, performance marketing, or data-driven marketing leadership
  • Proven track record in scaling growth through both paid and organic channels
  • Strategic mindset with a bias toward execution and experimentation
  • Expertise in lifecycle marketing and customer retention strategies
  • Hands-on experience with modern data stacks (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Looker, etc.)
  • Ability to lead and mentor high-performing teams across marketing and data functions
  • Deep understanding of the fintech, proptech, or mortgage industry a strong plus
