Job Description:

Our Las Vegas–based branch of Lower is built by a small team that has worked together for over a decade and values long-term collaboration. We focus on delivering a clear, professional mortgage experience grounded in strong communication, sound judgment, and taking responsibility for the quality of our work.

In this role, you’ll support an experienced team by owning key parts of the borrower experience, staying closely connected with clients and referral partners, and helping ensure loan files are structured thoughtfully and prepared to move forward.

Who you are:

  • A strong communicator who is comfortable speaking with borrowers and real estate partners.

  • Organized and detail-oriented, with a high standard for accuracy and follow-through.

  • A problem solver who can think independently and ask for support when needed.

  • Calm under pressure and able to manage multiple files and deadlines.

  • Solutions-focused with a consistent “how can this be done” mindset.

What you’ll do:

  • Guide borrowers through intake and early file setup with clear next steps and fast responses.

  • Collect, organize, and review documentation for completeness, consistency, and program fit.

  • Identify loan program options that match borrower needs and align with loan risk.

  • Confirm the file is structured to support the selected loan program and pricing strategy.

  • Coordinate clean handoffs and timelines with the processing team.

  • Track milestones, follow-ups, and potential bottlenecks to keep files moving.

  • Log key communications for team visibility and smooth collaboration.

  • Originate, structure, and manage loans sourced through personal relationships and referrals.

Why you’ll love it:

  • Client-facing role with real ownership and meaningful impact on borrower outcomes

  • Direct learning from a team of mortgage professionals with 20+ years of individual experience, including:

    • High-level professional sales skills

    • Clear, confident sales communication

    • Loan structuring and how to present options effectively to clients

  • Base salary that provides stability as you learn, build confidence, and grow your skills

  • Supportive, tight-knit team that values trust, accountability, and doing things the right way

  • Clear expectations and strong core values that create an environment where people can do their best work

  • Opportunity for compensation growth through team production and personal production without sacrificing quality or stability

Plus:

  • Extended benefit offerings including:

  • Medical/dental/vision

  • Paid holidays

  • Paid time off

  • Maternity leave

  • Life insurance

  • Short- and long-term disability

  • 401K with company match

  • Discount on home mortgage refinances or purchases

Where you’ll work:

Hybrid in Las Vegas is preferred. Remote candidates are welcome if located in Pacific or Mountain time zones and available during standard business hours, with some flexibility.

Compensation:

Base salary plus commission on team production and commission on self-sourced personal production. Typical total annual compensation is expected to be $60,000 to $80,000, based on production and experience.
