Job Description:

The CRM Specialist supports the management, configuration, and optimization of Lower.com’s Candid CRM platform. This role will assist in maintaining CRM data integrity, supporting automation and workflow development, and ensuring the platform effectively supports Sales, Operations, and other internal teams.

This individual will work closely with CRM leadership, sales stakeholders, and technical teams to implement improvements, troubleshoot issues, and enhance system functionality. The ideal candidate has foundational CRM administration experience and familiarity with Salesforce concepts such as flows, object management, and basic automation.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to grow within CRM administration while helping scale and improve the systems that power our mortgage business.

Location: Hybrid (3 days WFO/week) from our Columbus, OH office

Duties and Responsibilities:

CRM Administration & Platform Support

  • Assist in the day-to-day administration of the Candid CRM platform, including user management, permissions, and system configuration.
  • Support CRM enhancements and updates to ensure the platform meets evolving business needs.
  • Help maintain system documentation, processes, and internal CRM resources.
  • Monitor system performance and assist in troubleshooting user issues.

Workflow Automation & Process Improvement

  • Assist with the development and maintenance of automation such as flows, task automation, and process improvements.
  • Support CRM leadership in building scalable workflows that improve operational efficiency.
  • Help identify opportunities to reduce manual processes and improve data capture within the CRM.
  • Test and validate new automations before deployment.

Sales & Operations Support

  • Partner with Sales and Operations teams to ensure CRM processes align with day-to-day workflows.
  • Assist in building and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data views that support business insights.
  • Provide user support and basic CRM training when needed.
  • Gather feedback from internal teams to help guide future system improvements.

Data Integrity & System Quality

  • Help maintain CRM data accuracy, structure, and consistency.
  • Assist in auditing records, identifying duplicates, and maintaining data hygiene.
  • Support initiatives to standardize data entry and improve reporting reliability.
  • Work with CRM leadership to ensure CRM best practices are followed.

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience working with a CRM platform (Salesforce experience strongly preferred).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce concepts such as flows, objects, fields, and automation tools.
  • Basic understanding of CRM data structures, reporting, and dashboards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn and grow within CRM administration.
  • Experience in mortgage, fintech, or financial services is a plus but not required.
