Implementation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Implementation Engineer to join our growing team. This role will play a vital role in both pre and post sales activities, implementing solutions for Proof of Value Opportunities ensuring a smooth deployment in the deal cycle and an easy transition to our post sales teams. Additionally, you will build strong relationships with our Sales Engineering, Support, Product Management, Engineering, Professional Services, and Sales Teams, contributing to the ongoing success of our customers.
What You'll Do:
Concept configuration and review for potential customers
Customer requirement identification for successful post sale onboarding
Communicate technical solutions to stakeholders (internal and customer)
Collaborate with technical professionals to successfully integrate Mimecast Solutions with directory services, Single Sign On, SCIM, and mass deployment management desktop software.
Collaborate with Security professionals to setup, configure, and tune Mimecast to generate the best signal for understanding an organization’s risk.
Escalate and track issues and feature requests with the Mimecast Support and Product Development teams
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs
Mentor, onboard, and upskill newer team members
What You'll Bring:
Proficiency in System/IT Administration supporting Microsoft
3 years of Consulting experience working directly with clients.
Exchange/Online/Azure Communication Services, Google Workspace, or other email systems
Advanced knowledge of implementing technical capabilities including but not limited to SMTP Gateway configuration (Exchange, M365, GSuite, etc.), Directory Synchronization (LDAP(S), Azure, Google Cloud Directory Sync)
Fluent in the management of Windows, Mac and Linux/UNIX-based operating systems
Familiarity with email archive solutions such as Enterprise Vault, Microsoft, Google, or others
Experience with directory services (Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Open Directory)
Experience with email gateway solutions like Mimecast, MessageLabs/Symantec Cloud, Proofpoint, etc.
Experience with desktop management software such as, JAMF, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager / InTune, Workspace ONE, KACE, PDQ Deploy, and others
Experience with SCIM and identity management
Experience with Single Sign on Providers (Okta, Azure AD, Ping)
Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Batch, Powershell, Python, Javascript)
Experience with Java/J2EE applications.
Ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to stakeholders
