Sr. QA Engineer

PayTrace- Remote, US

What you'll be doing:

  • Review and Maintain our current automated testing scripts/processes
  • Develop new automated testing scripts/processes
  • Participate in developing and documenting User Stories, including testing estimates
  • Managing a defect log, issue resolution and validation of the fix
  • Develop, Document and Maintain testing strategies and testing scenarios
  • Collaborate with other Engineers, Architects, Quality Assurance, Quality Automation, System Engineers, Project Managers, Scrum Masters in solving new and existing technical challenges
  • Analyze and determine proper testing procedures/processes
  • Improve quality, test coverage, efficiency and regression coverage through lessons learned.
  • Identify product performance issues during new product development.
  • Assist in post-implementation, continuous improvement efforts to enhance systems and applications.

What we need from you:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum (5) years of experience with QA and testing methodologies; payments industry experience preferred
  • Minimum (5) years of experience analyzing system and application failures and bugs
  • Minimum (3) years of experience in test automation with Test Cafe
  • Minimum (1) year of experience with Linux/Ubuntu
  • Experience writing SQL queries
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Experience with testing web applications
  • Experience with testing SOAP, REST, or similar web services
  • Experience with source control such as Git, SVN
  • Ability to write, debug and maintain test scads/scripts
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a very dynamic, and timeline sensitive work environment

Salary Range: $80,000- $110,000
