The Performance Marketing Manager will play a critical role in accelerating North’s merchant acquisition and revenue growth. This role will be responsible for leading the strategy of direct and data-driven marketing programs that generate and convert leads into pipeline and revenue.
The Performance Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing acquisition-driving strategy, providing clear reports on the ROI of marketing activities, and recommendations on optimizations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
What you'll be doing:
Develop And Execute B2B Growth Strategies
- Design and implement comprehensive omni-channel B2B marketing strategies (including social) focused on driving qualified leads (MQL to SQL) and accelerating their conversion to sales opportunities.
- Utilize a data-driven approach to identify and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lead generation, conversion rates, and ROI.
- Align marketing and sales efforts to ensure seamless lead handoff and optimize the customer journey.
Optimize Lead Generation And Conversion
- Develop and implement targeted campaigns and initiatives to nurture leads and accelerate their progression through the sales funnel.
- Analyze lead data and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and optimize the lead qualification process.
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure alignment on lead qualification criteria and optimize lead scoring models.
Leverage Data-Driven Insights
- Define, track, and analyze key B2B marketing metrics, including lead volume, conversion rates, and customer acquisition cost (CAC).
- Conduct experimentation and A/B testing and other experiments to optimize marketing campaigns and improve performance.
Omni-Channel Marketing Expertise
- Develop and manage integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email, content marketing, social media, paid advertising, and events.
- Optimize channel performance based on data analysis and insights.
- Leverage marketing automation platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo etc.) to improve efficiency and lead nurturing.
Demand Generation Campaign And Tactics
- Evaluate and develop demand gen strategies & campaigns with clients
- Leverage experience to support integrated marketing efforts and campaign orchestration
KPI And Unit Economics Management
- Define and validate core B2B KPIs, such as acquisition cost, retention rates, ROI, and customer lifetime value (LTV).
What we need from you:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
- 8+ years of proven hands-on experience in social media management or performance marketing and growth programs in the Fintech or payments space.
- Proven leadership experience with a focus on driving vision and strategy within a team.
- Proven experience implementing AI solutions to drive marketing results and target defined audiences
- Deep experience working with paid social advertising platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, etc.
- Experience working with creators + influencers on viral marketing campaigns
- Proficiency in measurement platforms and analytics tools

- Ability to identify and seize opportunities for synergy and integration
- Comfortable maneuvering through complex policy, process, and people-related organizational dynamics
- Ability to establish clear responsibilities and processes for measuring results. Holds self and others accountable.
