What you'll be doing:
- Architect, design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable products.
- Translate business requirements and use cases into functional applications.
- Define the future architecture and structure of the product, and help maintain code quality and organization.
- Design decisions that drive innovation and create a technological advantage for the product.
- Review, test, and verify code for adherence to quality and security standards.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to problems, and help maintain code quality and organization.
- Collaborate with the development team to define and implement architecture direction.
- Design and enforce test-driven development using automated unit and integration testing.
- Provide guidance, direction and technical support to team members.
What we need from you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience and technical training.
- Minimum ten (10) years’ experience analyzing, designing and implementing solutions using J2EE or Node.js.
- Minimum eight (8) years’ experience developing in and for deployment in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment.
- Minimum seven (7) years’ experience writing JUnit tests or like technologies (for example, Mocha).
- Minimum seven (7) years’ experience using Eclipse, Netbeans or another related IDE.
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in React, Flux, JSP, HTML, Tag Libraries, JavaScript or another Java GUI framework.
- Experience leading design decisions and qualifying key architectural elements.
- Experience working in Java, Node.js, Flux, React, Mocha, Appium and AWS environments.
- Experience with secure software development.
- Experience in the design and development of complex Web Systems.
- Experience with Web Services (SOAP and REST).
- Experience with high-availability online transaction processing.
- Experience defining and enforcing coding standards, and conducting code reviews.
Salary Range: $130,000- $175,000
