We are currently seeking a Senior Vice President of Delivery and Operations to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

With the formation of Launch, NTT DATA requires a leader to run the delivery and operational aspects for the Launch business as it scales from its current size to $1B+ in revenue over the next 4-5 years. The role will partner closely with the President/CEO, further integrating the capabilities from the Launch acquisitions and honing the operating model, helping to evaluate M&A targets, refining the strategy, and partnering closely with the Launch (and the firm’s) businesses and practices. Delivering high quality products, that contribute to growth and margin targets, with strong customer and employee satisfaction will be critical success factors. While this person serves as the operational focus for Launch, solution/process definition and innovation are also expectations of the role.

The Senior Vice President of Delivery and Operations will be responsible for the following:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the project management, resource management and operations teams.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to align delivery and operations with overall business objectives.
  • Work with leadership to help identify, close, and integrate accretive acquisitions that bring additional domain and scale in relevant practice areas.

Operational Excellence:

  • Coalesce, refine and implement efficient Launch delivery processes to ensure holistic, timely and high-quality project execution.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with project delivery and operational processes.
  • Identify, track and analyze key performance indicators for the success of Launch.
  • Be the focal point for broader NTT Data operational functions (Operations, Finance, HR) into Launch.

Project and Resource Management:

  • Oversee the end-to-end project management lifecycle, from estimation to initiation to delivery.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Optimize resource allocation and utilization to maximize operational efficiency.

Solution Focus:

  • Act as the glue between practice teams to drive the synergy between individual practice offerings that define Launch’s solution offerings.
  • Continuously innovate, with Launch practice leaders, around Launch’s service offerings; staying abreast of the latest innovation, design, and engineering trends to power deliverable solutions that drive client value.
  • Work with NTT Data’s broader vertical and service line / horizontal leaders to contribute to the organizational interlocks to jointly define, sell & deliver engagements to clients.

Client Satisfaction:

  • Collaborate with client-facing teams to understand client requirements and expectations.
  • Implement measures to enhance client satisfaction and maintain strong client relationships from a delivery perspective.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous innovation.
  • Identify and address skills gaps through training and development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 20 years of Technology Services overall experience
  • 15 years’ experience leading IT delivery, technology roadmaps, and client engagement teams with accountability for managing client relationship and leading cross functional teams/projects
  • 10 years’ experience providing strategic direction and oversight in developing team/organization capabilities, achieving financial and operations objectives and delivering established service level agreements
  • 10 years’ experience advising B2C and B2B C Suite regarding customer engagement/journey strategies and the integration of emerging technology focused on delivering targeted business outcomes
  • Held past responsibilities for leading technology practice, setting and delivering service level agreements and operational excellence, managing P&L, and developing talent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior CTO or CIO experience
