We are currently seeking a Medicaid Business Analyst to join our team in Boise, Idaho (US-ID), United States (US).
The successful candidate will work as part of a team providing technical advisory services to support modernization of the Idaho state Medicaid Program. Working under the direction of the project manager, they will support technical governance and oversight for systems integration and module vendor implementations, ensuring adherence to the technical architecture and fostering a successful system modernization.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Supports Enterprise Architect, Integration Architect, Data Governance Lead and Security Architect as needed with technical research and analysis to support client presentations and deliverables
- Review project artifacts/deliverables throughout the system development life cycle for quality, compliance, and completeness, document observations and findings using project team processes and standards
- Research and provide recommendations to the client on business and technical problems/decisions
- Ensure project processes and methodologies are executed and followed by MES module vendors
- Identify and report project issues and risks
- Support, develop and present formal presentations to state business leaders, vendors, and team members, making applicable recommendations
- Support architecture, data and program governance boards with research, analysis, and documentation
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience supporting large, complex Medicaid system implementation projects and/or Medicaid business operations
- Minimum 4 years of experience with system development methodology and project management principles
- Minimum 2 years of experience developing or conducting reviews of system development life cycle documentation, technical process and design deliverables/artifacts
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Demonstrated analytical / problem solving skills.
- Ability to consider both technology and business challenges.
- Ability to translate between non-technical business users and technical IT resources.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level knowledge and experience specific to system development and implementation methodologies, project management, IT system architectures and cloud platforms.
- Undergraduate degree or 4 years additional relevant experience
Preferred Skills:
- Experience operating in an enterprise, application or solution architect role
- Experience in technical process management and improvement
- Experience in technical process and architecture diagramming
- Experience working for or with directly with Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) vendors
- Experience providing consulting services
- Candidate local to Boise, Idaho
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $89,032 to $146,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
