We are currently seeking a Asset Tech to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

The asset tech will facilitate and administer all IT Asset Management functions. Ensure that inventory is kept up to date and accurate. Research inventory discrepancies and correct entries as needed. Produce reports and other deliverables as required.

Responsibilities include:

• Participate in annual inventory including scanning assets, cleaning data on spreadsheets, and preparing upload sheets.
• Work tickets related to asset management functions and update assets accordingly.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies to maintain data integrity of the asset data
• Participate in asset audits and produce documentation to show audit results related to asset management
• Receive and stock equipment from the warehouse
• Prepare equipment to ship back to the warehouse

Basic Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Active Interim or Full Secret clearance is required to start.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience to include:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an asset manager, inventory control specialist, or similar role
  • Minimum 1 year of experience using computers and mobile scanners, to inventory equipment.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with asset management software and ticketing system to update asset records and tickets.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience using MS Excel or another spreadsheet tool.

Preferred Quaifications:

• Undergraduate degree preferred.
  • ​​​​​​​Education Equivalency: 6 months of relevant experience with Undergraduate Degree.
• Working knowledge of service desk and field service operations a plus.
• Experience with ServiceNow is a plus.
• ITILv3 Foundation Certification or similar certification.
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

Additional Requirements:

• Position is onsite every day during normal business hours in any of several Washington DC locations. Candidates need reliable transportation. Locations are mostly metro accessible.
• Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to walk, stand crawl under desks, reach out and above head, carry items, and move carts loaded with equipment.
