We are currently seeking a PMO Quality Manager to join our team in Montgomery, Alabama (US-AL), United States (US).
The PMO Quality Manager supports a Medicaid Modernization Program in Montgomery Alabama. This individual will report to the PMO manager as part of the core PMO team which is responsible for all project management processes including status reporting, scheduling, risk and issue management, quality management & audits, deliverables management, communications and SharePoint. The PMO supports and standardizes the work of NTT DATA and module vendor project managers. The PMO Quality Manager works directly with the staff, supporting them in the day-to-day progress & tracking PMO activities including risk and issue oversight. In addition, he/she will lead quality efforts within the PMO to keep operations aligned with the expectations stated in the quality plan. Furthermore, the PMO Quality Manager will conduct quarterly project audits in accordance with the audit plan and will report on the progress/results.
Duties include:
Leading project management activities internal to the PMO. This includes managing program risks and issues. Track, monitor, and follow-up on client requests and internal tasks to ensure they’re completed on time.
Lead the quality initiatives for the PMO in accordance with the quality management plan.
Oversee project audits of the module vendors implementing systems for the State Agency
Manage internal projects for the PMO team focused on new services and changes in processes and tools
Lead status and quality meetings and follow up as required.
Ensuring applicable PMO standards are used to complete project tasks
Expected to undertake any additional duties as they are assigned by their manager
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 8 years professional work experience.
Minimum 6 years managing IT Projects. Minimum 6 years managing multiple concurrent IT projects
Minimum 6 years of experience managing implementation and operations of Medicaid or Major Health Care Payer projects.
(Medicaid experience preferred)
Minimum 6 years managing Quality / continuous Improvement Programs
Minimum 3 years managing risks and issues in an IT project setting
Minimum 3 years managing quality initiatives within a fast-paced, IT setting
Minimum 3 years conducting and reporting on audits for compliance
Minimum 3 years of experience managing or working with multi-contractor projects, or similar complex integration efforts.
Minimum 3 years and must be proficient in Microsoft Office products and Microsoft Project
Must be willing to be at the client site at as requested by the client (less than 10%)
PMP certification

Must be a team player and a consistent, dependable performer with an excellent work ethic, flexible "can-do" attitude, and a results-driven commitment to success
Ability to work independently and manage work to a defined schedule
Capable of conducting meetings and making presentations
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving and customer service skills
Experience on an MMIS or insurance exchange project a plus
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $89,032- $140,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
