We are currently seeking a Networking Specialist to join our team in Anywhere in india, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).
- Job Overview
The Senior Telecommunications Support Analyst analyzes and supports the telecommunications network to meet business and customer requirements. This position analyzes, maintains, monitors, and troubleshoots telecommunications components to provide a secure, high-performance network. He/She is involved in capacity, resources, and contingency planning to manage the risks of telecommunications failure and ensure appropriate service levels are maintained. This position addresses root causes and supports timely resolution of problems. He/She performs quality assurance and testing of transmission mediums and infrastructure components. This position develops and maintains telecommunications disaster recovery plans and monitors network performance and availability. He/She implements specialized tools to diagnose the performance of the global telecommunications infrastructure. This position maintains and increases a broad range of knowledge and skills in telecommunications systems, dial plans, switching architecture, telephony, and wiring. He/She maintains a packet analyzer infrastructure (e.g., patches, custom modifications, upgrades, etc.) to ensure devices meet UPS Data Security requirements and to ascertain that analyzers are strategically placed within the UPS global network for data forensics. He/She identifies opportunities for improvement.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Provides 2nd-level enterprise network support to resolve complex network issues.
- Performs technical analyses and resolutions of network-related incidents within the UPS global network infrastructure to minimize disruptions and downtime.
- Provides technical analyses of applications, hardware, and software activities on the UPS global network to assist with problem resolution and to minimize disruptions and downtime.
- Performs root cause analyses and works with appropriate groups to implement final resolutions to prevent problem recurrence.
- Utilizes packet analyzers and network management systems to isolate and resolve issues effectively.
- Proficiency with Wireshark and packet captures a MUST
- Complete understanding of the steps for a successful connection and termination of a socket.
