We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (US-LA), United States (US).

The Project Manager will work collaboratively with the client, team members and vendors providing maintenance and operations services to the State of Louisiana. This position will direct and support a team of information technology roles for the Louisiana Child Welfare and Child Support systems.

• Provides direct supervision to a team of information technology roles (e.g., architects, developers, system analysts, business analysts, testers, data, security and technical administrators)
• Establishes and maintains client relationships along with partner agencies or vendors
• Review project artifacts/deliverables/SLA’s throughout the system development life cycle for quality, compliance, and completeness
• Identify and report project status, change management, issues and risks
• Ensure business and technical requirement efforts lead to successful testing and implementation
• Assist in creating, monitoring and enforcing SDLC processes, tools, and procedures
• Support or recommend architecture, data and program governance and continual improvements with research, analysis and documentation
• Leverage knowledge of state and federal requirements and policy and apply when appropriate
• Ensure team members tasks are scheduled and tracked using appropriate client scheduling tool
• May facilitate triage, release management or other meetings
• Support, develop and present formal presentations to state business leaders, vendors, and team members, making applicable recommendations

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years’ experience of health/human/social services IT project management experience
• Minimum 4 years of project requirements management experience
• Experience in the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process and tools
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years Child Welfare, Child Support or HHS program experience

Preferred Skills:

• 8-10 years’ experience leading technical services on large-scale legacy applications that include multiple human services programs
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Additional agile training, experience, or certifications
