The Job Details are as follows:

The Senior Financial Planning Consultant serves as a strategic financial partner to the GTECH (IT) organization and other assigned business areas, collaborating closely with key stakeholders to deliver insights, analysis, and support that drive effective decision-making and alignment with organizational goals. This role is deeply embedded in GTECH operations, providing financial leadership across technology initiatives, resource planning, and expense management.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate business profitability reports for all lines of business, ensuring they reflect underlying business activity and results of operations.

  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes by collaborating with cross-functional business partners to develop financial projections at a level of detail that enables thorough analysis and evaluation of organizational spending.

  • Support the development of executive-level communications pertaining to budgets, forecasts, and year-end financial results, and facilitate correspondence with various stakeholders, including the CFO.

  • Lead monthly forecasting and variance analysis for assigned areas by working with business partners to translate financial data into compelling stories and strategic insights through clear, executive-ready presentations that inform decisions and influence senior leadership.

  • Leverage technology systems and tools (e.g., ERP, CRM, BI & Analytics) and explore opportunities to incorporate AI-driven solutions to enhance financial planning processes, drive continuous improvement, and support decision-making across the organization.

  • Provide financial support for technology-related initiatives and projects, partnering closely with GTECH to enhance financial planning and resource allocation processes.

  • Administer the time tracking system to ensure alignment with the organization’s software development process and software capitalization policies.

  • Contribute to product profitability analysis and pricing strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and inform decision-making.

  • Assist with financial components of Business Plans, Business Cases, and Project Plans, including revenue, sales, costs, and capital expenses.

  • Participate in testing system applications for new releases or internal enhancements.

  • Support a wide range of FP&A functions, including ad hoc financial analysis, development of insightful reports and presentations, cross-functional collaboration to achieve team goals, and providing backup coverage to ensure consistency and organizational success

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on corporate finance and accounting. MBA or Professional certifications (CPA, CMA) preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years (3 years with MBA or Professional certification) work experience in a position(s) requiring analytical and forecasting skills.

  • Financial and accounting skills, including preparing financial models, pricing analysis, journal entries, and reconciling balance sheets and cash flows.

  • Experience working in a global environment with multiple currencies and time zones preferred.

  • Demonstrate initiative and drive when approaching assignments.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work across all management levels.

  • Strong excel skills are required

  • Knowledge of systems including ERP, CRM, BI & Analytics platforms, and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiar with tools such as NetSuite, Adaptive, Workday, Replicon, Power BI, and AI-powered productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT or similar) is a plus

Working Conditions: Normal office environment. Hybrid position working three days in the office and two remotely.
