OneStream is looking for an experienced Website & Optimization Specialist to join our growing global marketing team. As our Website & Optimization Specialist, you will be responsible for the design and optimization of our website to drive engagement and accelerate the customer journey. You’ll focus on ensuring the quality and performance of the user experience and journey related to content promotion, calls to action, landing pages, forms, personalization, and other opportunities to drive engagement that feeds our lead scoring system to develop pipeline.

You are the bridge between demand generation, website architecture, & design functions that inspect the visitor’s journey for points of friction and pounces on opportunities for acceleration. You will be responsible for exercising sound judgment and discretion when making recommendations that influence the overall business approach You are an excellent communicator who seamlessly translates business priorities into technical requirements, project plans & designs that yield desired business outcomes. You have impeccable attention to detail, embrace outcome-oriented thinking, and tenaciously pursue continuous improvement.

This position will work within the Demand Generation team which is part of the Marketing organization. You work closely with our design and website development teams on a daily basis and with stakeholders to gather requirements on new projects and initiatives. We are a highly collaborative, team-oriented, and results-focused group.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Design System Creation & Maintenance: Build and update a comprehensive design system (in Figma) for the website. This includes a library of reusable UI components, style guides (colors, typography, spacing), and interaction patterns. The design system will serve as a single source of truth to ensure consistency across all pages.
User Research & Data Gathering: Conduct user research and analyze data (analytics, A/B tests) to inform design decisions. Ensure that any design updates or new features are grounded in clear, data-driven purpose rather than assumptions.
Requirements Gathering for New Features: Work with stakeholders (marketing, product, content teams) to gather and clarify design requirements for new website features or pages. Translate business objectives and user needs into concrete design goals and specifications.
Mock-ups & Prototypes: Create high-fidelity mock-ups and interactive prototypes in Figma for new features and concepts, using the design system as a foundation. This allows early visualization and testing of ideas before development, ensuring we validate designs upfront.
Developer Collaboration: Collaborate closely with developers during the build process to make sure the implemented features match the intended design and requirements. Provide developers with design specs, assets, and guidance, and address any discrepancies together in real time.
Design Quality Assurance: Perform UX/UI quality assurance testing on new or updated pages. Before launch, verify that the visual details and user interactions meet our design standards and that the user experience is smooth. Catch and fix any design-related issues (alignment, responsiveness, etc.) early.
Content Management Support: Assist with maintaining visual quality in the content management system. For example, help create or style pages and ensure that as content is added or edited, it remains consistent with the overall design and branding.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Website design, development, Marketing, Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience.
2-4 years experience.
Experience developing methodical, multi-variant tests.
Expert skills with Figma, Google Analytics, Data Studio, VWO or similar.
Experience using a robust CMS, specifically Sanity CMS preferred.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS & JavaScript.

Preferred Education and Experienc

Experience with VWO optimization platform is a plus.
Experience managing content on a website with personalization a plus.

Travel

This position requires travel up to 10-15% of the time.
