The Sales Trainer is a key member of the Sales Performance & Training team, responsible for equipping new and experienced sales professionals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel. This role delivers impactful learning experiences, reinforces behavior change in the field, and partners closely with managers to drive sustained sales productivity. Success in this role means faster onboarding, stronger execution, and improved retention across the sales organization.

You Will:
Deliver engaging onboarding, product, and skills training to new hires and existing sales employees.
Reinforce training through in-field coaching, shadowing, and digital follow-up sessions.
Partner with instructional designers to update and refine content to reflect evolving business needs.
Develop talk tracks and value props for product enhancements and promotions.
Provide feedback to sales leadership on emerging skill gaps and recommend targeted learning solutions.
Track and report on learner progress and training effectiveness, ensuring alignment to performance goals.
Serve as a cultural ambassador, modeling best practices and fostering a learning mindset across the team.
Must Have's:
5+ years of successful sales experience with a history of exceeding targets.
3+ years in a sales coaching, training, or leadership capacity.
Experience in automotive sales or related industry.
Proven expertise in sales methodologies such as consultative selling or solution-based selling Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales enablement tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Nice to Have's:
Experience in a high-growth or large-scale sales organization.
Track record of turning around underperforming sales talent and teams.
Sales coaching certification or relevant professional training.
Background in instructional design or curriculum development.
Exposure to data-driven learning measurement and ROI analysis.
Familiarity with implementing sales enablement technologies.
