OSIS is looking for a skilled and motivated Systems Engineer I to join our growing team. In this fully remote role, you’ll work directly with OSIS members to support and enhance our enterprise datacenter environment. From server configuration to virtualization and network support, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining the stability and performance of our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain a multi-domain Windows Infrastructure

• Configure and upgrade servers, storage arrays, and virtualization platforms

• Monitor system performance and plan for future capacity needs

• Develop procedures to minimize outages and ensure system availability

• Respond to technical inquiries from staff, vendors, and service providers

• Resolve escalated help desk service requests

• Participate in on-call rotations for critical support

• Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and support

• Manage assigned projects and ensure timely delivery of services

• Support both physical and virtual networking environments

• Administer systems and servers across multi-site operations

What You Bring

Required:

• 3+ years of experience in an IT enterprise environment

• Working knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022

• Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, MFA, Microsoft RDS, and file/folder security

• Experience with commercial hypervisors

• Experience administering backups or DR policies and procedures

• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field

• Experience with VMware vSphere, Veeam, Office 365, HP Blade Systems

• Familiarity with SANs (HP, Nimble, Pure) and Microsoft SQL Server

• Background in healthcare or non-profit organizations

Remote Work & Technical Requirements

This is a remote position with occasional travel (less than 10%). You must have:

• Cable or fiber internet

• Minimum download speed: 20 Mbps

• Minimum upload speed: 5 Mbps

$69,200 - $103,800
