Job Description:

Are you passionate about improving healthcare through technology? OSIS is seeking a dynamic and experienced NextGen EHR Specialist II to join our mission-driven team. This full-time role offers the flexibility of working remotely while making a tangible impact onsite at community health centers across the country.

What You'll Do

As a NextGen EHR Specialist II, you’ll be the go-to expert for resolving NextGen tickets and leading projects that enhance the EHR experience for our Members. You’ll collaborate across departments, deliver high-quality training, and build strong relationships that foster trust and confidence in OSIS services.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assigned subject matter expert and liason for OSIS Members

• Conducting remote and onsite NextGen training sessions

• Managing escalated tickets and communicating updates across internal teams

• Guidance for Members on workflow analysis, optimization, new functionality and development requests

• Creating user documentation and educating teams on NextGen capabilities

• Participating in regular Member calls to ensure compliance and satisfaction

Travel & Schedule:

• This is a 100% remote position with 50% travel to community health centers

• Occasional evening and weekend work required during NextGen upgrades

• Standard hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field OR 5+ years of NextGen experience

• 2+ years of EHR training/support for clinical staff

• Hands-on experience with NextGen software

• NextGen EHR certification (preferred)

• Experience with CHC/FQHC workflows

• Background in clinical operations

Additional Requirements:

• Must be NextGen Certified (NCP) or obtain certification within 6 months of hire

• Reliable cable or fiber internet with minimum speeds of 20Mbps down / 5Mbps up
