Job Description:

OSIS is seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Operating Officer to lead and oversee our Operations Team. This executive role is responsible for driving operational excellence, aligning departmental goals with organizational strategy, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the strategic direction of the Operations Team

  • Mentor and develop staff to achieve technical proficiency, customer service excellence, and career growth

  • Set and monitor personal development goals for team members

  • Serve as the primary liaison for member service emergencies

  • Collaborate with department leaders to enhance member experience and execute strategic initiatives

  • Develop and enforce corporate and departmental policies, including corrective actions and process improvements

  • Foster member trust through relationship-building and consistent service delivery

  • Conduct ROI analyses and support strategic decision-making

  • Manage vendor relationships and represent OSIS in negotiations

  • Partner with executive leadership to meet company goals and optimize operational systems

  • Identify and implement process improvements and new technologies

  • Align departmental decisions with the organization’s business plan and vision

  • Work with the CFO to manage departmental budgets

  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and market trends

Schedule and Travel


Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evenings and weekends may be necessary. Approximately 20% travel required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of related experience/training

  • 10+ years of experience in Practice Management or Electronic Health Record support

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in non-profit organizations

  • Experience managing remote teams

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with NextGen software

This is a remote position. Candidates must have:

Compensation Range

$159,400 - $239,000
