Job Summary
As a Director level Programmatic SME, you will help grow our newly-established programmatic channel by building programmatic relationships with existing clients and identifying new business across endemic and non-endemic verticals. You will be sharing your deep knowledge of programmatic to educate internal teams and help drive demand of programmatic to their core client base, as well as help acquire new clients.
What You'll Do
- Focus on driving demand and revenue for Programmatic sales channel.
- As a dedicated Programmatic SME, you will offer knowledge, education and support to the Sales team throughout the entire sales cycle.
- Support the VP, Programmatic and sales team on RFPs, RFIs, client presentations, reporting/measurement, QBRs and projects as needed to continue to help refine our GTM strategy and processes.
- Be a trusted partner to our sales team and their clients. You are reliable, confident and have excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Become an expert in point of care and in articulating the value that programmatic can bring to POC as a whole, our business and our clients.
- Leverage relationships both internally and externally to navigate the sales process and complex situations, knowing when to bring in senior support.
- Foster ongoing client and programmatic vendor relationships to drive programmatic adoption and renewal.
What We Need
- 5 years’ experience in a programmatic business development or solution-selling role, ideally within the Digital Publisher, DOOH, or AdTech industries.
- Proven success in consultative selling of programmatic technology to ad agencies.
- A relationship builder – bringing existing agency, programmatic contacts to the role.
- Strong working knowledge of the programmatic ecosystem and ability to simplify complex programmatic processes and terminology to educate internal teams.

- Ability to adapt to multiple team environments to support Jr to Executive level sales professionals as their dedicated programmatic SME.
- Growth mindset, enjoy building from the ground up to help define a new revenue channel, comfortable in an unstructured, entrepreneurial environment.
- Ability to introduce a new product in detail while discerning a client’s needs—presenting new solutions with intelligence and creativity.
- Understanding of marketing plans and objectives with a focus on endemic health verticals - RX, OTC, CPG, Retail a plus.
- Driven Self-starter, motivated and independent worker desire and proven success in hunting for new business.
- Strategic thinking, consulting, ad recommendations with clients to improve performance of programmatic campaigns and identify and cultivate new or expansion opportunities.
Base Salary Band: $90,000.00 - $170,000.00
Variable Compensation: $40,000.00 - $100,000.00
