The Role

project44 is looking for a Manager, FP&A to join the GTM Finance team. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, this role is the primary finance business partner for Customer Success, Marketing, Professional Services, and Sales. You'll have direct exposure to the CFO, CMO, and CX lead — supporting the financial decisions and conversations that matter most to the go-to-market organization.

In year one, success looks like full ownership of the revenue forecast and establishing yourself as a trusted, go-to finance partner for the CX and Marketing organizations.

What You'll Own

  • Serve as the primary finance business partner for Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Marketing — supporting revenue forecasting, OpEx management, and strategic planning
  • Own ARR reporting and analytics, providing leadership with a clear view of retention trends, segment performance, expansion opportunity, and regional dynamics
  • Deliver monthly financial results to department leads, surfacing performance drivers, budget risks, and actuals vs. plan
  • Partner with Recruiting, People, and business leaders to ensure headcount plans reflect hiring reality, budget constraints, and evolving business priorities
  • Build and maintain revenue models across Subscription, Professional Services, and Recurring Services to support quarterly forecasting and scenario planning
  • Support quarterly Board reporting, investor packages, and management flash decks — contributing to the financial narrative that shapes how leadership communicates company performance

Who You Are

You're comfortable defending data-driven conclusions in front of senior leadership and don't shy away from a difficult conversation when the numbers tell a clear story. You build credibility through accuracy and consistency. You're curious about how AI and new tools can make your work sharper and faster — and you've already started figuring that out on your own. You thrive in an office environment where relationships matter, and you take the time to build them across the business.

What We're Looking For

  • 5–7 years in FP&A or a similar analytical finance role, ideally in SaaS
  • Grasp of SaaS metrics: ARR, NRR, GRR, churn, expansion, gross margin
  • Hands-on experience with Adaptive Insights (or comparable CPM tool), Salesforce, and NetSuite; familiarity with Rocketlane or similar PSA tools is a plus
  • Actively uses AI tools — Claude, ChatGPT, or similar LLMs — as part of day-to-day work
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large, complex data sets
  • Clear communicator who can translate numbers into a narrative that resonates with non-finance stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

Diversity & Inclusion

We’re designing the future of how the world moves and is connected through trade and global supply chains. We can only deliver a truly world-class product and experience if our teams are as diverse and unique as the communities we are building for. It’s up to us to create a company where anyone can bring their authentic self to work every day. We’re constantly working to improve, and we accept our responsibility to elevate the voices left in the margins. It’s on every one of us.

Our focus on inclusion manifests in the way we hire, the customers we serve, and the regions we prioritize. We’re building a company that every one of us at project44 is proud to work for: a company that celebrates you for being you.

We pride ourselves on celebrating everyone — project44 is an equal opportunity employer actively working on creating a diverse and inclusive work environment where underrepresented groups can thrive. If you share our values and our passion for helping the way the world moves, we’d love to review your application!

For any accommodations needed during the hiring process, please email recruiting@project44.com. Even if you don’t meet 100% of the above qualifications, you should still seriously consider applying. Studies show that you can still be considered for a role if you meet just 50% of the role’s requirements.
