The Role
We’re looking for a dynamic Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead the go-to-market strategy for our Human Resilience solution, helping organizations drive sustainable behavior change and reduce human risk. In this role, you’ll be the subject matter expert on our target buyers and competitors, laying the foundation for market success. As a thought leader, you’ll educate the market on how to move beyond compliance-based security awareness training toward human risk management. You’ll also define how human resilience fits into the broader story of an integrated collaboration security platform that safeguards trusted interactions across email, cloud, and collaboration channels. Partnering closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing, you’ll create impactful messaging, launch plans, and sales tools that drive demand and field success. The ideal candidate is a strategic storyteller and hands-on marketer—a proactive self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows when to challenge and when to lean in.
Your day-to-day
In this role, you’ll get to:
- Establish yourself as a thought leader in the rapidly transforming human risk management domain, which goes beyond traditional training and phishing simulations to pioneer a holistic approach that drives behavior change
- Drive measurable business impact by accelerating upsell and adoption of Proofpoint Prime Threat Protection, positioning human resilience as a key use case.
- Build strong partnerships across Product Management, Corporate Marketing, and Sales to design and execute go-to-market strategies that deliver results.
- Develop compelling messaging and content—including webinars, blogs, solution briefs, and presentations—that showcase Proofpoint’s differentiated value to target buyers.
- Partner with Sales Leadership to define enablement priorities and create impactful content that helps sellers uncover opportunities and articulate our unique value.
- Lead new release launches, ensuring seamless cross-functional planning and execution.
- Represent Proofpoint at industry events, customer briefings, and sales trainings as the primary thought leader for the products and solutions you support.
What you bring to the team
- Proven experience marketing to enterprises and technical buyers; demonstrated ability to converse across technical and sales audiences with a concise message
- Passion for knowing your market and translating that expertise to actionable go-to-market plans
- Analytical mindset with ability to execute tactically; work independently and manage multiple priorities and projects
- Demonstrated leadership skills and highly developed interpersonal skills to lead, manage and inspire a diverse team
- Ability to articulate the unique value propositions at both the granular product level and the broader solution level
- Proven to be a strong public speaker, comfortable in front of large, senior groups, and a solid writer.
- 6+ years of product marketing experience to enterprise security
- BS/BA required, preferably in business or technical concentration

Pay within these ranges varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. The range provided may represent a candidate range and may not reflect the full range for an individual tenured employee. This role may be eligible for variable compensation and/or equity. We offer a competitive benefits package, including flexible time off, a comprehensive well-being program with two paid Wellbeing Days and two paid Volunteer Days per year, plus a three-week Work from Anywhere option.

Base Pay Range: 132,225.00 - 193,930.00 USDAll other cities and states excluding those listed above:
