The Role
The GL Accounting Manager is a key leader within the Corporate Accounting team responsible for overseeing the month-end close for cash, fixed assets, accruals among other areas, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, and driving continuous improvement across accounting processes. The GL Accounting Manager will partner closely with International Accounting teams, FP&A, Collections, Treasury, Accounts Payable, and Procurement. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, technically strong in US GAAP, and skilled at managing both people and processes in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
Location: This is a hybrid role based in our Sunnyvale HQ, 4 days a week.
Your day-to-day
General Ledger Month-End Close and Financial Reporting
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for cash, fixed assets, accruals among other areas to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Review and approve key journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial fluctuations.
- Assist with developing and execution of month-end processes and protocols for acquired entities
- Prepare and review schedules supporting financial statements
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and corporate accounting policies
- Maintain strong internal controls in accordance with SOX, GAAP, and regulatory requirements
- Support quarterly reviews and the annual audit, including prepping audit support and acting as a key point of contact for external auditors.
Team Leadership & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of GL accountants, fostering a culture of accountability, process excellence, and continuous improvements.
- Collaborate with International GL Accounting teams and partner cross‑functionally with FP&A, Collections, Treasury, Accounts Payable and Procurement and business teams to ensure accurate financial data.
- Partner with IT and Finance Systems teams to maintain and optimize GL Accounting systems (e.g., D365, Floqast, Omnea).
- Identify and drive continuous process improvements, automation initiatives, and standardization across entities and regions for further efficiency in GL Accounting.
What you bring to the team
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- CPA license and/or public accounting experience is required
- 6+ years of progressive experience in GL accounting with a mix of public accounting, public company and shared service model experience with a minimum of 2 years as a people manager
- Proven leadership, team development, and project management experience in Corporate Accounting in a large multinational organization.
- Effective communication skills and promotes an engaging environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to prioritize business needs, adapt to rapid business changes, meet tight deadlines and communicate effectively across the organization.
- Open mindset of continuous improvement working with business partners to effect change.
- Change management experience, especially related to systems and process enhancements and transformation.
- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting principles, and compliance frameworks (SOX).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed, and evolving organization.
- Strong business acumen, financial skills and analytical abilities including proficiency in systems (e.g., D365, Floqast, Omnea, Workday) and Microsoft Office

Base Pay Range: 102,300.00 - 160,820.00 USDAll other cities and states excluding those listed above:
