Senior Financial Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This is an incredible opportunity to work at the intersection of data analytics, financial modeling, and next‑gen reporting tools, including Copilot, Power BI, and large data environments. You will be part of a global team with its largest hub in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This role reports directly to the Director of Finance, supporting our Library Software Business Unit with the A&G Segment.
About You – Experience, Education & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field or equivalent, relevant work experience.
- 2+ years of relevant financial analysis experience.
It would be great if you also have:
- Experience with general ledger systems (Netsuite or Oracle (is helpful but not required).
- Experience with additional data analytics tools or automation platforms including python, Co-Pilot or other AI tools.
- Experience working with large data sets, data manipulation, (PowerQuery and PowerPivot), and data visualization tools such as PowerBI
- Ability to interpret financial data, recognize trends, and communicate meaningful insights.
- A passion for process improvement and intellectual curiosity to explore new ways of doing things.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Identifying and actioning opportunities to improve insight delivery using technology
- Develop and maintain financial models that support budgeting, forecasting, and long range planning.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and deliver insights that guide business decision making.
- Support business case development, investment evaluations, and financial recommendations.
- Assist with annual budget planning, monthly close activities, and key reporting deliverables.
- Work cross functionally to ensure data accuracy between Finance and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to ad‑hoc analytical projects aimed at improving financial performance and efficiency.
- Play a meaningful role in the company’s transition from current reporting tools to Oracle, helping to modernize and streamline analytics.
About the Team
Our Finance group is a collaborative, data‑driven team supporting a business unit that supports mission critical platforms to academic and public libraries, globally. The A&G FP&A team has members around the globe with its largest concentration in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This role focuses on transactional financial information and partners closely with internal stakeholders across the business.

Hours of Work
This is a full‑time, permanent position, working standard business hours in your time zone.
This role is hybrid, working onsite in the Ann Arbor office approximately 2-3 days per week.
