We are looking for an Account Manager to join our Nordic sales team at Clarivate. This is an exciting opportunity to own and grow a portfolio of high-value accounts across corporates and IP law firms, working with market-leading intellectual property solutions covering the entire IP lifecycle including patent intelligence, trademark data, and IP management systems.
This role spans a broad and sophisticated solution portfolio, from outsourced IP services to enterprise-level IP management systems and data-driven offerings. Your work will directly impact how leading organizations innovate, protect, and commercialize their ideas.
You will be part of a collaborative, high-performing team focused on driving revenue growth through consultative selling, upsell, and cross-sell strategies. This is for an individual who can act as the CEO of their portfolio and sees opportunity where others see status quo. About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
You are a commercially driven, structured seller with a proven ability to grow accounts and build long-term customer relationships.
Must have requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in B2B sales
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
Experience in consultative, solution-based selling
Experience managing customer relationships and driving account growth
Experienced with value-based selling methodologies (MEDDPICC)
Fluency in English
Fluency in at least one Nordic language (Swedish preferred)
It would be great if you also have:
Experience selling software / SaaS solutions
Experience in selling outsourced solutions
Experience working with data, analytics, or intellectual property solutions
Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
Experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments
What will you be doing in this role?
This role is measured by your ability to grow, retain, and expand your accounts.
Achieve sales goals by meeting targets and proactively identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
Own and drive revenue growth across your portfolio, with a strong focus on expanding existing customer relationships
Ensure customers are maximizing the value of their current solutions, identifying gaps, and positioning additional services where relevant
Support and drive contract renewals, ensuring high retention rates and long-term customer satisfaction
Manage a defined portfolio of Nordic accounts, developing and executing strategic account plans
Build and maintain strong customer relationships across multiple stakeholder levels, including senior decision-makers
Provide accurate sales forecasts through consistent CRM updates and communication with leadership
Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle — from discovery and solution development to negotiation and closing
Collaborate with internal stakeholders including solution consultants, subject matter experts, and customer success teams
Identify new contacts and expand engagement within existing accounts to drive growth
Maintain strong product knowledge across Clarivate’s portfolio to effectively position solutions
Actively participate in team meetings, sharing insights and contributing to overall sales strategy
Travel within the Nordic region to meet customers, strengthen relationships, and drive business growth

Hours of Work
This is a full-time, permanent position based in the Nordics.
The role follows standard business hours within your time zone, with flexibility to collaborate across regions when needed.
This is a remote position, with access to work from our Stockholm office
