Our Team is Growing:
The Provide Closing Team Lead, Small Business, manages a single team of 3-7 closing officers whose primary responsibility is to manage borrowers through the loan process from closing to funding. The Closing Team Lead, Small Business, manages the day-to-day execution of strategies related to productivity efficiencies and profitability initiatives that optimize revenue performance and exceed revenue goals.
Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensuring that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.
A Day in the Life:
· Leads a high-performing team of specialists with responsibility for revenue performance
· Implements and executes on strategic priorities to enhance revenue performance through productivity and efficiency enhancements
· Creates process development and implementation strategies to efficiently manage a borrower from closing to funding, including tools, tracking, and process changes
· Measures, tracks, and adjusts performance against efficiency metrics; implement new initiatives in collaboration with stated goals
· Ensures strategies related to business objectives are in compliance with appropriate policies, laws and regulations as applicable
· Proactively manages production and efficiencies meeting credit and service quality level
· Develops cooperative relationships with key business partners to continually identify and implement improvements to increase productivity and improve efficiencies
· Participates in the development and recommendation of strategy, policy and practices
· Develops team members through coaching and training programs to retain, grow, and promote top performers
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide timely, candid and constructive performance feedback; develop closing officers to their fullest potential and provide challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth; develop appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength & succession planning; recognize and reward employees for accomplishments. Additional reports beyond seven individual contributors would present review for the Closing Manager role.
Our Newest teammate Will Have:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
· Performance exceeding expectations as an individual closing team contributor
· Operationally driven mindset with the ability to manage teams to processes and results
· Proven experience exceeding sales targets, implementing and managing processes in a changing environment
· History of collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and implement programs and process
· Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and closing skills with the ability to sell to decision-making levels
· Experience making data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing to meet deadlines
· Prior experience in Sales, Finance, Commercial Real Estate, Practice Finance or Construction project management preferred
· Prior experience with CRM software preferred
· PC proficient in Windows based software programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Must be able to work in a team environment with the ability to interact well, and in a positive manner, with senior leaders
· Ability to motivate team, work independently, manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment
