Our client, PMR Healthcare, is seeking an HR Manager to join their team. As the HR Manager you’ll be pivotal in supporting the unique workforce needs of clinical and administrative healthcare teams. This role will oversee payroll, benefits administration, timekeeping, employee relations, talent acquisition, and performance management—within a healthcare services environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee payroll and timekeeping administration, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, ancillary, and retirement plans; ensure compliance with ERISA and related laws.
  • Evaluate and negotiate benefit plans annually, collaborating with brokers to secure cost-effective and competitive solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and managers, handling HR policies, employee relations, and performance issues.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies, maintain consistent documentation and fair resolution of employee concerns.
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for all positions, develop and maintain talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, and partnerships.
  • Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and coaching managers to foster employee growth and accountability.
  • Partner with leadership to identify development needs, support succession planning, and contribute to strategies for organizational growth.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and other departments to align HR initiatives with overall business goals and drive continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications & Hiring Requirements:
  • 5–8 years of progressive HR experience with demonstrated success in payroll, benefits, employee relations, and talent acquisition.
  • Healthcare industry experience required—preferably within a clinical, multi-site, or provider-based organization.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of HR laws, compliance standards, and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of ERISA and experience managing broker relationships.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred.

Work Environment:
  • This role operates primarily in a remote work environment, aligned with East Coast business hours, but there will be an occasional need to be available for the workforce in other time zones (CT, MTN, PST). This position requires reliable internet connectivity, access to secure communication tools, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • An office option may be available in Southern Florida as needed for collaboration with leadership.
