As a Channel Sales Manager, you will play an important role in facilitating alignment between Sales and Rain's Strategic & Channel Partners (e.g., leading HR software platforms) to drive joint opportunities. You will be responsible for crafting and executing a GTM strategy with your partner portfolio. You will be accountable for the overall wellbeing of the partnership relationship and becoming the partner of choice for their customer facing teams. You will help coordinate co-selling motions, create bi-directional concessions, and provide white glove service while focused on generating new business for Rain’s Sales team. Responsibilities

  • Project manage and lead relationship between Rain Instant Pay and the Partners in your portfolio by establishing a trusted advisor relationship across the Partner's organization, from Executive Sponsors to day-to-day contacts
  • Sell through Partner organizations in coordination with Partner
  • Work with marketing to develop promotions & campaigns specific to the Partner
  • Be the face of Rain for the Partner customer
  • Be the face of Rain at Partner events and conferences
  • Work cross functionally with internal teams, including sales, customer success, product, engineering, marketing, and support, to ensure that Partner expectations are met and exceeded
  • Work with Rain's sales team to ensure proper dissemination of partnership knowledge
  • Represent the voice of the channel Partner with leadership teams by engaging in product discussions, translating customer usage and feedback into actionable insights, and feature ideas
  • Support the build and demonstration of client success stories to be evangelized among business prospects and industry experts
  • Execute the Channel Sales playbooks to successfully run generate new business

Requirements

  • Experience of 7+ years of Solutions Selling, EWA Partnerships, HCM Industry, and/or Enterprise Sales with MEDDIC
  • Utilized partners as a referral source to help generate leads, closes, and lasting relationships
  • Effective negotiating with agreements and bi-lateral concessions
  • Significant experience working with Partner or Enterprise customers and navigating vast organizations with multiple stakeholders in multiple departments
  • Strong communication skills, a curious mindset, and attention to detail
  • Strong project management and ability to coordinate across teams to execute
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to build relationships and become a trusted advisor
  • Handle large volume of email, chat, and phone conversations
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and nurture client health
  • Significant Travel (20%+)

The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum: $150,000

Maximum: $200,000

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors.
