Red Ventures is seeking an Editor who will be responsible for assigning, editing and publishing content for content partners. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating SEO-friendly content that answers key questions and empowers readers to make smart decisions. This editor will be responsible for editing broadband articles and coordinating with key stakeholders. The right candidate is able to identify topics for monthly assignments and develop quality, engaging content with a quick turnaround.

What You'll Do:

• Create clear assignment outlines for articles, product pages, guides and geo-specific editorial pieces.
• Edit, proofread and fact-check articles in accordance with the editorial style guide.
• Upload and publish content in our CMS.
• Consistently improve the quality of editorial coverage by providing actionable feedback to writers.
• Understand SEO value and employ best practices for SEO.
• Produce 30 new articles per month
• Update existing articles for compliance edits as necessary
• Work closely with vertical editorial and SEO teams to organize content calendar
• Coordinate content priorities and production with key stakeholders of the external content partner

What We're Looking For:

• At least 2 years of editing experience, preferably within the category of Broadband Content geared toward consumers
• Experience writing or editing for SEO
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Command of AP style
• Experience meeting tight deadlines while working independently to manage multiple publishing projects
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Compensation:

• Cash compensation range: $70,000 - $102,000*
  *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
