Platea is seeking an experienced Software Engineer with a passion for technology and a strong background in full-stack development. As a Software Engineer at Platea, you will be responsible for developing scalable and integrated end-to-end services, maintaining and improving our applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive technological innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Build out scalable and integrated end-to-end services using NodeJS/NextJS/Lambdas in TypeScript.
• Develop UX designs, accessible and search optimized front end applications using HTML5, Typescript, design systems like tailwind and frameworks like react, NextJs.
• Provision and maintain applications in a cloud environment with infrastructure as code tooling like terraform, cloud formation.
• Develop DevOps workflows and pipelines.
• Maintain and improve existing Wordpress codebase using PHP.
• Demonstrate consistent performance when working in a medium to large piece of frontend components and templates written in ReactJs/TypeScript.
• Scope and implement technology solutions independently and with minimal guidance using SCRUM practices and StoryPoints
• Leverage existing AI tools and APIs to develop software.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design and content teams.

What We're Looking For:

• 4+ years of experience with full stack experience and development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Demonstrated "can do" attitude with a willingness to tackle and solve complex problems.
• Ideal team players: hungry, humble, and smart! We value those who are curious and strive to be great people to work with.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as ECR/ECS/RDS.
• The ability to prioritize, strategize, execute, and deliver.
• Experience with relational and non-structured databases.
• Prior working experience operational excellence tools like cloudwatch, splunk, new relic.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Compensation

Cash Compensation Range: $80,000

*Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
