This role requires a hybrid schedule and will be based in our Fort Mill, SC Headquarters (Tuesday through Thursday) and work fully remotely on Mondays and Fridays each week. Red Ventures is seeking an experienced Front End Software Engineer to join our Engineering Team. You'll play an instrumental role in developing and maintaining the core functionalities to support site operations with our financial services partners. The right candidate for this role will be highly-organized and collaborative, with a passion for solving problems cross-functionally. But you won’t do it alone — you’ll have a collaborative cross-disciplinary team of designers, customer experience managers, and other engineers to support you.

Work Experience
What You'll Do:
- Create and enhance responsive, accessible, and visually appealing web pages for our partner's website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers, back-end developers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
- Follow coding standards and utilize modern frameworks (like React or Angular) to build high-quality applications while ensuring code maintainability and performance optimization.
- Connect front-end components to back-end services through RESTful APIs or GraphQL, managing data effectively to provide a dynamic user experience.
- Apply accessibility best practices and conduct tests to ensure compliance with web accessibility standards (WCAG), making the website usable for all users.
- Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and cross-browser compatibility problems through testing and debugging techniques.
- Engage in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes.
- Maintain clear and concise documentation of your work, including code comments and technical specifications, to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
What We're Looking For:
Software Engineering Experience:
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks used in web development (e.g., JavaScript (TypeScript), HTML/CSS, React, Node.js).
- Understanding of web application architecture, including client-server models, RESTful services, and microservices.
- Strong emphasis on code reviews, testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end), and best practices in software development.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies to manage project timelines and deliverables effectively.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to streamline deployment processes.
Data Experience:
- Understanding of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel) to measure site performance and user engagement.
- Ability to use data insights to drive engineering decisions and site improvements.
- Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and their integration with web applications.
Accessibility and Security Experience:
- Knowledge of WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) to ensure the website is usable for individuals with disabilities.
- Experience in implementing accessibility testing tools and methodologies (e.g., screen readers, automated tools).
- Understanding of web security principles, including OWASP guidelines, to protect the website from vulnerabilities.
- Knowledge of regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and best practices for handling user data responsibly.

Compensation
- Compensation Range: $80,000-$120,000*
- *Note actual salary is based on qualifications and experience.
