Red Ventures is seeking a Contracts Specialist to join our legal team – the Charlotte Business Journal’s Outstanding Large Company Legal Department Winner for 2023! The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in contract administration (utilizing Redlaw, our CLM tool) and partner with counsel to draft, review, redline, negotiate, route for signature, and administer contracts. An eagerness to prudently leverage technology (including contract review and analysis AI tools) and to maximize efficiency will be key. You may be responsible for supporting one or more digital advertising businesses within a fast-paced working environment that often requires issues be addressed quickly. Additionally, you will need to have strong analytical, project management, organizational and collaborative skills, plus be detail-oriented.

What You'll Do

• Provide development, management and administration of contracts utilizing RV’s contract management platform (from creation to termination)
• Perform legal and regulatory research, and provide guidance at the direction of counsel
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals and internal business clients in the drafting, maintenance, and implementation of form agreements and contract playbooks
• Generate form letters such as termination letters and takedown notices
• Manage and maintain contract lifecycle databases for accurate recordkeeping
• Provide general legal support related to a wide range of other legal matters possibly including litigation, intellectual property, employment law, corporate governance and M&A

What We're Looking For

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree required; legal training and/or relevant coursework preferred
• 1-2 years of contract administration experience that includes drafting, reviewing, redlining and negotiating contracts preferred, or experience as a legal assistant
• Prior in-house experience and knowledge of digital marketing, consulting, or services industries are a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to drive results in a team setting
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple stakeholders and identify efficiency opportunities
• Analytical skills for process and system improvement
• Capable of legal and regulatory research with the willingness to take on novel projects, learn new areas of law
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Professional judgment, attitude, and a sense of humor

Compensation

Cash Compensation Range: $31.25/hr-$36.06/hr*

*Note the compensation range is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
