Description
Regrid is a dynamic spatial data company building software and data products to deliver a nationwide dataset of 158+ million land parcels, 186+ million building footprints, and 180+ million addresses covering 100% of the US population. We offer our data in multiple formats to customers across private and public sector verticals via bulk data files, API, Esri-compatible feature service and our property app.
Over the years we have created a successful suite of products, a growing customer base and project portfolio, and an effective organization. Our products are built in-house from scratch and are a labor of love that has become great business.
The Role
We are looking for someone who loves GIS, maps, spatial analysis, Esri products and is looking for a fulfilling career in product management that sits at the cusp of GIS, spatial data and delivering unparalleled value to the customers. This role will help manage the roadmap and GTM strategy for our Esri-compatible Feature Service and all other GIS & Esri-focused product enhancements revolving around Regrid’s core product - Nationwide Land Parcel Data.
This is a pivotal role for the organization as our feature service has been one of our fastest growing delivery methods for the parcel data. With Regrid’s strong partnership with Esri and their teams, we are now looking at a growing roster of collaborative product-level initiatives that will enhance the value of our parcel-data for GIS specific use-cases in the Esri product stack, this role has the opportunity to oversee these projects in close collaboration with the CPO, from the ground up and help build the next set of value-generating solutions for our suite.

Key Responsibilities
- Be the Subject Matter Expert for GIS & Esri Toolsets such as but not limited to ArcGIS Pro, AGOL, ArcGIS Living Atlas, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Developer Account, QGIS, PostGIS, Leaflet, Mapbox, Felt, Carto etc…
- Be the driver of product changes keeping our tech stack and the Esri stack in mind, to develop optimal solutions that can work in an array of Esri tools and scale as we grow.
- Overseeing our Esri-compatible Feature Service for Parcel Data and other derivative Esri-focused solutions.
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, foresee customer use cases, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth. Be the representative of the customer needs and workflows to the Product & Engineering teams.
- Become an expert on our client use case and gain deep understanding of all of our spatial datasets - being able to understand how our parcel data will work in GIS use cases, a penchant for spatial analysis using multiple relevant datasets joined at the parcel level.
- Work with CPO and the sales team to drive more product and solution opportunities with our Esri partners.
- Translate product strategy into detailed technical requirements and prototypes.
- Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources.
- Work closely with support on client issues on relevant products and be able to QA/QC and problem solve with the technical teams.
- Drive product launches including working with external partners, executives, Engineering, and other product management team members.
- Act as a product champion to build awareness and understanding.
- Represent the company by collecting customer and partner feedback on company products and services.
- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.
- Work with CPO to develop product pricing and positioning strategies.
Job Requirements
- 6-8 years (minimum) of hands-on technical experience using Esri tools. Primarily ArcGIS Pro, AGOL, ArcGIS Living Atlas, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Developer account and their suite of widgets.
- 1-3 years of product management or project management experience.
- Experience with open source GIS & mapping tools - QGIS, PostGIS, Leaflet and non-open source basemaps and tools - Mapbox, Felt, Carto etc.
- Ability to work with various feature services and spatial datasets, load them into ArcGIS and other mapping softwares, run spatial joins, analysis and geoprocessing workflows within the Esri environment.
- Comfortable working with large datasets and file-based GIS analysis - For context, our nationwide parcel dataset is quite large to begin with but gets even larger when combined with our add-ons - Building footprints, Zoning polygons etc.
- Ability to be a liaison between sales & technical teams for their relevant products
- Strong organizational & prioritization skills - ability to manage & straddle multiple projects & priorities, timelines & ad hoc projects in a fast paced environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $100,000- $140,000 (dependent on experience) + discretionary bonus opportunities
