Job Overview
We are building a new team focused on reinventing how users search in our product. You'll be part of a team working on high-scale systems, building and maintaining reliable, cloud-native infrastructure that powers search functionality used in the justice system.As a DevOps Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tooling that supports our distributed systems. You'll work with modern cloud technologies in a supportive, collaborative environment, with opportunities to grow your skills in scalable infrastructure and cluster management.

Job Description and Requirements
Your Role in Action
Write clean, maintainable automation code primarily in Python or Golang, with strong bash scripting skills.
Design and maintain cloud infrastructure across one or more major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Manage and optimize Elasticsearch clusters or similar distributed search/data platforms.
Build and maintain Kubernetes infrastructure, with focus on running high-load production workloads.
Implement infrastructure as code and automated deployment pipelines.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance under heavy load conditions.
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve observability, reliability, and scalability.
Participate in capacity planning and performance testing for search infrastructure.
Ensure production systems are highly available, secure, and cost-effective.
Participate in on-call rotations as part of a team responsibility.
Continuously improve automation, tooling, and operational practices.
Your Skills
3+ years of hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Strong programming skills in Python or Golang for automation and tooling.
Advanced bash scripting capabilities for system administration and automation.
Production experience managing Elasticsearch clusters or similar distributed systems (e.g. OpenSearch, Solr).
Extensive experience running production workloads on Kubernetes, including performance tuning and scaling.
Deep understanding of containerization with Docker and container orchestration.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Bicep, Pulumi, or similar).
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar).
Understanding of networking, security, and cloud-native architecture patterns.
Nice to have: experience with load testing tools, service mesh technologies, or database performance optimization.
Problem-solving mindset, strong communication skills, and collaborative approach to infrastructure challenges.

This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.
The expected salary range for this role is between following values:
146 000 and 218 000PLNThe final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
