Job Summary:
The Account Strategist creates and implements an array of savings and recycling strategies for our customers while maintaining and building relationships with vendors in each of our operating markets. You will ultimately responsible for the P&L and diversion rates for our customers.

Analyze, develop, and execute project plans for RoadRunner customers.

Execute upon RoadRunner's key levers of profitability for each account location.

Manage day-to-day communication with third-party subcontractors and haulers to implement location project plans swiftly and accurately.

Analyze location-by-location operating targets to highlight trends and opportunities for improvement.
5%
Provide analytical support for initiatives and special projects as needed such as expansion into new markets.

Education:
  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor’s Degree Required in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business, with a strong academic record.
Skills and Experience:
  • Comfort with ambiguity, ability to act without having the whole picture using sound judgment and strong decision-making skills.
  • 2+ years in Operations, Account Management, or Project Management.
  • Passionate about business results and quality, with a strong sense of accountability, metrics and ownership.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to grasp the tactical details.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, is dynamic, and can capture a group’s interest and maintain it as well as the ability to facilitate meetings with diverse and sometimes conflicting points of view.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, multi-task and effectively prioritize conflicting assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels and across all functions of the organization.
  • Proven ability to organize/manage multiple priorities coupled with the flexibility to quickly adapt to ever changing business needs.
