Job Summary:
The Specialist, Marketplace Partnership & Logistics engages with Nationwide Independent contractors to source and onboard them onto the RR platform, ensuring continuous and effective communication. This role creates and posts lead generating advertisements, and makes key decisions about the recruitment of contractors into the Marketplace. The Specialist also monitors the performance of existing contractors on the platform, assessing their workload and making adjustments as needed. Additionally, the specialist ensures optimal fleet management and operational efficiency by adding or removing partners from the RoadRunner network as necessary. The Specialist handles various operational tasks to support both our partners and internal teams, ensuring that we deliver exceptional service to our customers.
Primary Duties %
- 40% - Sources, recruits, and onboards new driver/installation partners in our operating markets around the country including the decision to ultimately partner with and have independent contractors represent RoadRunner to our customers.
- 15% - Is the day-to-day point of contact for our drivers/technicians on technology/app issues as well as other things like earnings, work assignments, et al.
- 10% - Plans and implements incentive, and retention programs to help meet increasing participation goals
- 10% - Maintains accurate and thorough compliance documentation from drivers/technicians, including insurance documents, driving records and related items
- 10% - Collects feedback from our dispatch team and makes contract and relationship determinations with Marketplace partners.
- 15% - Develops and implements logistics strategies and plans to optimize the supply chain, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.

- Interacts with: Trucking Partners, Marketplace, Operations, Finance
Skills and Experience:

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field required
- 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
