Minimum Qualifications

Job Summary

As a Brand Strategist at Dictionary.com, you'll develop and execute cross-platform digital marketing programs for Dictionary.com’s strategic advertising partners. This position requires a strategic, creative thinker with exceptional communication skills and a proven track record of turning ideas into comprehensive content programs.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development, ideation, and strategic thinking of best-in-class marketing solutions for Dictionary.com's strategic advertising partners
  • Own the strategic commercial programs and collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Editorial, Insights, Newsletter, Product, Social & Video, to ensure recommendations align with advertiser goals
  • Provide quick and thoughtful packaging of strategic recommendations into visually appealing, concise marketing collateral and proposals for Dictionary.com’s 3 direct sponsorship channels: O&O, Newsletter, and Social
  • Attend client and agency meetings to learn about new initiatives, brainstorm, and present recommendations
  • Identify new/proactive opportunities and positioning for brand partners/verticals leveraging proprietary data and research
  • Assist in the creation of ad hoc sales marketing materials, including packages, product one-sheets, case studies, and best practices for Dictionary.com’s 3 direct sponsorship channels: O&O, Newsletter, and Social

Colorado, New York City, California, and Washington Candidates Only. The salary range for this position is seventy-three thousand five hundred dollars to one hundred fifty-three thousand five hundred dollars. The position is also eligible for uncapped incentive pay based on individual performance and other employment-related benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401K retirement plan, and paid-time off.
