As the Creative Capacity Lead, you play a pivotal role in connecting top creative talent with our most impactful marketing projects. You’ll champion the health, sustainability, and ongoing development of our creative resources, ensuring work is delivered at the highest standard while supporting your team’s wellbeing. You will convert creative project demand into actionable resource plans, fueling campaign success and team growth. About the role
Assess and forecast creative demand across campaigns and ongoing programs, making strategic recommendations to anticipate and meet evolving needs.
Translate creative briefs into actionable talent forecasts, proactively adapting plans as priorities shift and capacity requirements change.
Allocate creatives to projects in alignment with their skills, availability, and interests, ensuring both optimal outcomes and team engagement.
Partner closely with project managers and creative leads to execute effective, agile resourcing across all initiatives.
Serve as the first point of escalation for resourcing requests and bottlenecks—troubleshooting challenges and driving resolution with speed and sensitivity.
Maintain a dynamic roster of vetted freelance and contract creatives, activating external talent to supplement internal capacity whenever required.
Track, report, and analyze creative resource usage, costs, and performance, refining processes to support data-driven excellence.
About you
Minimum qualifications
5+ years of experience in creative operations, project management, resource management, or marketing operations.
Demonstrated success managing both in-house and external creative resource models.
Strong understanding of creative workflows and campaign lifecycles.
Experienced in resource planning platforms (such as Monday.com and Smartsheet).
Skilled in cross-functional communication and conflict resolution.
High emotional intelligence, with a natural ability to balance business urgency with empathy for individual needs.
Preferred qualifications
Familiarity with agency operations, contracts, and partnership management.
Prior experience with talent management, workload advocacy, and process automation.
A proven background working closely with marketing or creative teams in a matrixed environment.
