As the Servicer Review Analyst I - Master Servicing, you'll be responsible for organizing, conducting and managing the process of Primary Servicer site visitations for evaluation of their servicing operations. You'll be responsible for the timely reporting of site review findings and the writing of an internal operational report. You'll conduct Primary Servicer Desk Reviews for the purpose of analyzing operational and financial strengths and weaknesses. You'll direct and approve Servicer's course of action involving loan level issues related to trust agreement and servicing agreement obligations.
About the role
Travel to Primary Servicer site. Responsible for the project management including the preparation and mailing of an engagement package before and reconciliation and reporting of findings after the Site Review. Requires extensive customer-facing and interviewing of high-level senior officers. Requires extensive knowledge of governing trust agreements to speak to contract requirements. Requires well-rounded knowledge in loan servicing to negotiate with Servicer on acceptable servicing practices.
Responsible for writing and publishing a site report of audit findings to the Primary Servicer within required timeframes. Responsible for writing an internal operational report on the servicing operation. Organizes and leads conference calls with key management internally and within the primary servicing operation to discuss issues/findings, etc.
Responsible for conducting and managing the Primary Servicer Desk Reviews by analyzing and inventorying responses/attachments from the Annual Servicer Questionnaires. Performs risk/best practice analysis of servicing functions i.e. tax processing, force placed insurance, escrow administration, default, etc. Has extensive knowledge in financial analysis and loan servicing to identify any risks within the servicing operations.
Responds to complex verbal and written loan level requests from Primary Servicers. Requires extensive knowledge of governing trust agreements to speak to contract requirements, as well as an understanding of the basic laws of REMICs or Real Estate Mortgage Investment Conduits so as not to allow an adverse REMIC event. Also requires extensive knowledge of acceptable servicing practices or best practices. Has the authority to approve/deny the loan level request e.g. partial releases, subordinations, prepayment penalty waivers, easements, etc. within the parameters of the governing servicing agreement, trust agreement and loan documents.
May lead and perform other related duties or ad hoc projects within the scope of responsibilities.

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with all applicable job posting disclosure requirements. The compensation for this position is $50,220.00-$111,280.00. The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, incentives, and other employment-related benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401K retirement plan, and paid-time off.
