Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering MTS in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Develop web applications using existing front-end technologies and frameworks. Create scalable APIs which are backward compatible and do not cause security issues by giving unintended access privileges. Provide production support for existing customers but handling customer case investigations, provide support for upgrade failures, and triaging bugs with cases. Create technical documentation for the support team and internal developers to understand how a feature was built. Collaborate with Lead Engineers, Product Managers, UX Designers, Performance Engineers, and Technical Writers to design and lead mid-level complexity features. Change architecture and feature expectations based on feedback from other stakeholders. Onboard new hires/interns by ramping them up on our code-base and general salesforce practices. Provide technical guidance to junior team members with their deliverables. Create a testing strategy on how a product capability will be tested, including creating feature level testing plans, manually verifying each feature’s function, and testiNng it in multiple browsers and device configurations. Create test automation design and implementation. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java; (2) Junit; (3) Relational databases; (4) Object-oriented programming; (5) IntelliJ; (6) Eclipse; (7) Git; (8) Jenkins; (9) Agile software development lifecycle; and (10) RESTFul API.

Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.

Salary: $157,600.00 - $236,500.00 per annum.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $157,600 to $236,500.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
