Overview of the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Sr. Analyst to leverage data-driven insights that optimize our global real estate portfolio of 100+ offices. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to audit, monitor, synthesize, and report on real estate and office space data, and translate those insights into actionable recommendations.
As a key member of the Workplace Innovation Team, this role will help ensure our workplace portfolio remains innovative, adaptable, and aligned with business goals. The position will be responsible for collecting and analyzing observation and utilization data, subsequently translating insights into comprehensive reports that will inform decision-making. The role will also assist in evaluating pilot programs by tracking key metrics and assessing their effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with CAFM system administrators & Space Planners to ensure global space data is accurately tracked and recorded to reflect current space classification and hierarchy, seats, capacity calculations, square footage and space attributes

  • Support development of target metrics, analysis through scenario planning and data modeling to test and validate theories and research efforts in collaboration with global and regional teams

  • Assist with reporting on space utilization, efficiency and allocation analyses as well as scheduled and ad-hoc reports that combine space management data, attendance and workplace research findings

  • Maintain continual focus on innovation and data integrity, constantly striving to improve delivery of services, including actively obtaining feedback from team members, to make existing processes more streamlined, automated and scalable

  • Support innovation projects and pilots with coordination and data analysis

  • Set up and implement observational studies using specialized software

  • Collaborate with local Real Estate teams to provide training and conduct observational studies

  • Provide prompt feedback on data inconsistencies by monitoring ongoing observational studies during data collection.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a related discipline or field of study (i.e. computer science, statistics or information systems preferred; corporate real estate or similar experience accepted). Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.).

  • Experience in a corporate real estate environment working with workplace data and analytics is highly desired

  • Superb communication skills and the ability to partner with cross-functional teams

  • Demonstrated organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Skilled in collecting, organizing, visualizing and assimilating data using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software, preferably Tableau

  • Self-starter and great teammate who is adaptable, capable of leading change and able to process work quickly and accurately in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities

  • Advanced skills required in MS Excel/Google Sheets

This role is hybrid and goes into the office 3 days per week.
