Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering MTS in Seattle, WA:

Job Duties: Design, research, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Work closely with a team of engineers, product managers, user experience experts and performance engineers to build new features customers will adopt and use while keeping the platform stable and scalable. Design, architect, implement, test and deliver highly scalable products. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, and write unit/functional tests to drive up code coverage and automation metrics. Master the development process, culture, and code base, then improve it. Present designs to internal/external groups and review designs of others. Participate in the team’s on-call rotation to address complex problems in real-time and keep services operational and highly available. *Above address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in the Seattle area: 744 N. 34th St. Seattle, WA 98103, 701 N. 34th St., Seattle, WA 98103, and 929 108th Ave, Bellevue, WA 98004. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in the Seattle area.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Object oriented programming; (2) Programming languages: Java or C++, JavaScript, & Python; (3) Scripting languages: SQL, HTML, & CSS; (4) Source control tools: Git, or Perforce; (5) Integrated development environments: Eclipse, or IntelliJ, or VS Code; (6) CI/CD automation; (7) Key open sources technologies: Jenkins, or Spinnaker, or Docker; (8) Test frameworks: JUnit, or Selenium, or WebDriver, or Rest Assured; and (9) Agile Development methods- Scrum. (10) AWS services: sqs, s3. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable.

Salary: $137,259.00 - $172,800.00 per annum.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $137,259 to $172,800.
