Salesforce is seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Manager of Security to join our Customer Success Planning and Operations team. In this role, you will drive the advancement of our security program by managing our security project portfolio, creating a unified roadmap, conducting risk and remediation strategies, leading the execution of strategic security projects, and building out aa metrics and reporting dashboard . You will drive alignment across multiple cross company stakeholder groups and drive executive-level reporting. Success requires a strong understanding of security programs, program management skills, business acumen, analytical skills, and exceptional communication skills to further mature and manage our security program. Experience in security compliance, program governance, project execution, and an understanding of key security regulations (e.g., FedRAMP) is highly beneficial.
This role will report into the Senior Director of Privacy and Compliance.

As a Senior Manager, you will:
Drive Security Portfolio Management
Create a Centralized Security Roadmap
Maintain project intake and prioritization framework
Maintain a centralized Security Project and Risk & Issues Inventory
Lead cross functional security program governance meetings
Maintain multi-quarter Security Program Roadmap meetings
Drive Project Execution and Stage Gate Management
Drive strategic security related initiatives and act as a SME when applicable and pull in external stakeholders from other Security and Legal teams as needed
Drive strategy development that connects Security regulations and standards into process and technical implementation
Manage the project stage gate process to guide projects from strategy through implementation
Standard and Policy Adherence
Maintain centralized inventory of all Standards and Policies that impact Customer Success
Conduct gap assessments against current inventory to identify maturity of existing compliance and potential gaps
Partner with leaders to diagnose gaps, mitigate risks, and implement course corrections that drive results
Develop compelling, insightful recommendations to support executive decision-making and prioritization
Translate gaps and remediations into actionable strategies
Develop Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Design and implement a communication strategy to ensure timely and effective stakeholder engagement and awareness
Collaborate with teams to orchestrate business reviews, community calls, and leadership updates that drive alignment and decision-making
Develop and deliver presentations for senior executives and various levels within their teams
Lead various communication channels to optimize stakeholder engagement
Thrive in Ambiguity & Fast-Paced Environments
Act as an internal consultant, identifying root causes of challenges and presenting risk balanced solutions
Operate with a self-starter mentality, balancing multiple priorities while driving clarity in complex situations
Navigate evolving business priorities, ensuring a proper focus on both proactive and reactive initiatives
Experience and Skills Required:
Bachelor’s degree in business, cybersecurity, or security management
8+ years of experience in strategy, security, compliance, management consulting, or related roles, preferably within the Salesforce ecosystem
Expertise in managing multi-initiative security compliance programs with cross organizational stakeholder coordination and collaboration
Expertise in managing a project portfolio with a risk based prioritization methodology, associated risks and issues, and associated multi year roadmap
Expertise in Security Standard and Policy compliance monitoring with the development of risk based gap analyses and mitigation strategies
Expertise in program management and organizational change, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive initiatives from insight to execution
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze trends, identify risks, and connect insights to action
Problem solver able to quickly pick up on security challenges and craft effective solutions
Proven ability to own end-to-end project success, from vision and requirements definition to design, development, launch, and post-launch analysis
Outstanding executive presence, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate optimally with team members at all levels of the organization
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing multiple priorities while delivering high-quality results
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and innovation
