Role Description:
We are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Data Analyst to join our team! As a key member of the Supply Chain Operations team, you will be responsible for turning complex data into actionable insights that support critical business decisions. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, troubleshoot issues, and implement data driven solutions.
In this role, you will also serve as a Subject Matter Expert for a key area of the business, developing deep expertise in relevant data, tools, and processes to drive accuracy, consistency, and long term impact. You will support ad hoc analyses, collaborate cross-functionally, and help ensure a smooth experience for key stakeholders.
This role reports to Senior Manager, Supply Chain Analytics.
What you’ll do:
- Be the Data Expert: Serve as the subject matter expert for your assigned area of the business, developing deep expertise in the related data, tools, and processes. You will be the go to resource for questions, guidance, and support within your domain.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs, translate business questions into analytical solutions, and provide tailored insights to support critical decisions, while balancing and prioritizing competing requests effectively.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis to investigate issues, identify outliers, and provide actionable recommendations for sustainable reporting and to resolve problems quickly and effectively.
- Analyze Trends and Metrics: Use advanced technical skills to identify trends, evaluate performance, and generate insights that drive improvements across operations.
- Develop Reporting Solutions: Build and maintain self-service dashboards and reporting views that empower teams to access key data and make informed decisions independently.
- Communicate Insights Effectively: Translate complex findings into clear, concise insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders to support action-oriented decision making.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements related to data collection, reporting, and analysis. Stay current with best practices and technologies, and maintain clear documentation to support long term knowledge sharing.
- Other duties/responsibilities as necessary to support the success of the Supply Chain Operations team.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- 5+ years of professional experience in data analytics.
- Excellent research skills and problem solving required.
- Solid communication skills with an ability to collaborate with different stakeholders.
- Expert knowledge of SQL and Power BI.
- Supply chain experience required.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Familiarity with Python is preferred.

ShipBob believes in transparency while providing a competitive total compensation package with a pay for performance approach. We are targeting a salary range of $83,078 – $110,770 for this role. The full base pay range for this position in our compensation architecture is $83,078 – 138,463. In addition to base salary, this role includes the opportunity to be eligible for participation in the Company's discretionary bonus plan based on Company's plans and in accordance with Company’s policies.
