We are hiring an Associate to Sr. Project Manager to lead innovative product development at Steelcase’s world-class innovation center. You are a strategic and self-directed project leader who thrives in cross-functional environments. You bring clarity, structure, and energy to complex product development efforts, and you’re passionate about enabling teams to succeed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a product development-related field or military equivalent experience
- Professional working experience
- Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Steelcase will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Familiarity with the product development lifecycle (PDL)—including supply chain, engineering, or design
- Experience influencing business leaders and managing stakeholder alignment
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated experience leading product development or similar cross-functional projects
What You Will Be Doing:
- Lead new product development projects from concept through market launch
- Align cross-functional teams and stakeholders around project scope, goals, and timelines
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring accountability and transparency
- Facilitate decision-making reviews and influence business priorities
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance future project outcomes
