We are hiring a Marketing Operations Intern to provide support of the initiatives, projects and programs led by the Office of Marketing (Marketing Services, Launch, Portfolio Management and Business Operations). This will include working on critical business processes, systems architecture, communication platforms and change management. Interns will have the opportunity to work with many different departments, including marketing, finance, and IT.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Evaluates opportunities for efficiency and targets those opportunities with greatest potential for positive business results.
- Gather and analyze information on complex issues. apply data analytics, user surveys, and other practices of the project management discipline.
- Effectively support the establishment of procedures to resolve problems, drive decision making and foster cross collaborative teamwork.
- Have a mix of project-based work and monthly/quarterly assignments which ensure a range of experiences and learning opportunities.
- Work with and gain exposure to a wide variety of groups at Steelcase (e.g., finance, marketing, communications, product/data management, sales, market research, IT).
This internship will provide you the opportunity to expand your analytical and problem-solving skills, challenge yourself to analyze data and then articulate insights, and enhance your written interpersonal skills.

Who You Are:
Required Skills and Competencies
- Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at a nationally accredited program.
- Actively enrolled in a degree-seeking program at the time of application and throughout the duration of the internship or co-op position.
- Preferred majors for this position: Finance, Accounting, and/or Marketing
- Preferred academic standing for this position: Rising Sophomore – May 2028 Graduate and Rising Junior - May 2027 Graduate
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. The company will not offer sponsorships or work visas now or in the future for this role.
- This position involves frequent local travel and reliable transportation is required
Preferred Skills and Competencies
- Preferred major/concentration: Business, Finance or Accounting, MIS, Economics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate clearly.
- Demonstrated creative problem solving and proactive learning.
- Experience working a team-based environment
- Ability to work 15 - 20 hours per week during the school year and full time during the summer
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet and Sharepoint
