Overview

The Salesforce Solution Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and leading the technical delivery of Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ, Billing, Subscription Management) solutions. This role translates complex business requirements into scalable architectures, configuring pricing/product rules, managing integrations (ERP, billing), and providing expert guidance to functions and teams, ensuring seamless Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) processes for efficiency and compliance.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex challenges to develop impactful Quote-to-Cash solutions including CPQ, Billing, & Subscriptions, ensuring scalability and alignment with business goals.
  • Design and manage integrations with ERP, billing, and related systems; oversee data migration and governance.
  • Responsible for implementing solutions that support business requirements and drive key decisions that improve processes and productivity.
  • Partner with Biz Ops, Commercial Ops, Finance, and executive leadership to define roadmaps and deliver solutions that meet strategic objectives.
  • Lead discovery workshops, gather requirements, and translate business requirements (pricing, quoting, product catalogs) into technical specifications and optimized processes.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, data models, and specifications.
  • Stay current with the latest Salesforce features, releases, and industry best practices.
  • Establish standards for Salesforce development, deployment, and testing; ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage technical debt and drive simplification and modernization
  • Coach and mentor junior technical team members

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ of experience as a Salesforce administrator
  • Deep expertise in Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ, Billing).
  • Strong understanding of Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) lifecycle.
  • Experience with complex pricing, promotions, and subscription models.
  • Ability to architect integrations (ERP, Billing, etc.).
  • Consultative skills to advise stakeholders and drive adoption.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator
  • Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud and/or Billing Certified
  • Salesforce Business Analyst, Strategy Designer, or Certified Consultant
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
  • Supplementary:
    • Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud, Agentforce, B2B Commerce, Manf. Cloud, or other recognized and relevant SF certifications
    • PMP, Agile, TOGAF, or similar professional achievements or association recognition
    • Knowledgeable/worked with numerous recognized Salesforce AppExchange products, OmniStudio, Mulesoft, Prodly, NetSuite/ARM, or similar common Salesforce broader enterprise architectural tools and suites.
